Families First Rally in Fort Worth

Date: 06-23-2018
Time: 9:30 AM
Address: 1201 Houston St, Fort Worth, Texas, 76102
On Friday, the Trump Administration opened a tent city to hold 360 children at the port of entry at Tornillo, Texas. As of the end of May, according to the US Department of Homeland Security, 1,995 children have been separated from their parents while crossing the border with Mexico. Pres. Trump is laying this atrocity at the feet of congressional Democrats.

Raise your voice with a coalition including the Texas Democratic Party, Indivisible Fort Worth, FWTX Indivisible, other activist groups, and statewide Democratic candidates at a rally to condemn this illegal and immoral action by the Trump Administration and to communicate our values as Americans that the best interests of children always come first.

Join us as we call for our current leaders and future leaders to fight for policies that put families first in all communities.

Additional details regarding sponsors and speakers will be announced shortly.

Saturday, June 23, 9:45-10:30 am. The location is the Fort Worth Convention Center, Houston Street Concourse
